Well after last winter's snowfall total being well below the normal parameters. This winter snowfall totals have exceeded 13m mark as of the 26th February 2018. 1335.5 meters (44ft) according to our friends at 360 Niseko
The snowbanks are very high and snow clearing an uphill battle each and everyday, but this is the sacrifice we make to ski and ride endless powder here in Niseko and throughout Hokkaido and the rest of Japan. #Japowmageddon has been thrown around a lot lately and it is fairly accurate.
We are no entering the weeks leading into our Spring period where ski touring is going to start becoming the norm as well as some more sunny days for resort riding. Not that smashing powder snow is not fun....because somedays you just want to see the sun and get that thing called 'vitamin D!'
But having expressed the need for warmth and sun #japarch is around the corner. More deepness to come we think.
We are also offering some special ladies only touring days again this March run by 'ladies for ladies' keep and eye out for the posts on Facebook and get in contact they fill up fast.
For the rest of spring (Easter & Golden week included) we are having our SUPER Spring Specials from 5th March - May 6th 2018. Discounted Private Lessons and Guiding for the remainder of the season.
See you on the hill or drop by the office.
