It has been an interesting and at least challenging last 2 years since we last operated in a full capacity. We know the world has changed and the lives of our past guests and instructor/ guides have too.
It is with this time away from the snow seeking, cuisine devouring and onsen relaxing behaviours we took for granted for all those years that makes us all want to revisit, and take advantage of the possibility of doing it all again but with new eyes, taste and feelings.

Winter 2020/21 The Covid Edition.
Winter like never before….
The Autumn is here and the leaves on the ‘Birch’ trees are changing before they fall to make way for the coming winter.
Normally at this time of the year HME are receiving a steady flow of emails, website inquiries and calls about the upcoming season, Christmas and New Year bookings and tours . This year 2020 has changed this like no other.
Having said this: HME will operate this coming winter in Japan.
That means when international travel opens up for Japan and you are from a country that is approved for travel and tourism, there will be qualified and experienced guides and instructors for you, your family and friends who are lucky enough to experience what we expect the quietest but possibly snowiest winter for sometime.
Unfortunately, not all of our staff will be back for the winter which is very sad for us. HME will continue staying current and be adapting to the changes based on the developments for tourism and immigration based on a Covid safe environment when it happens.
